Product description
EPDM rubber seals are components made from ethylene-propylene-diene-monomer (EPDM), a type of synthetic rubber known for its resistance to extreme weather conditions and a variety of chemicals. These seals are used in a diverse range of industrial, commercial and residential applications due to their durability and sealing properties.
EPDM is known for its resistance to extreme temperatures, UV rays, ozone, water and ageing. It can be used in a wide range of temperatures, from -50°C to +150°C or more, without losing its integrity or elasticity. EPDM rubber seals are often used in applications such as window and door seals, in sewage and water systems, in the automotive industry for engine sealing or in sealing applications in HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) equipment.
Because of their excellent sealing and durability properties, EPDM rubber seals are preferred in many applications where superior resistance to harsh environmental conditions and increased safety against leakage and damage is required.
