Neoprene rubber

Its technical name is polychloroprene and it is made up mainly of carbon and hydrogen atoms. Neoprene is obtained by a chemical reaction using chloroprene, which results in fragments of it. They are mixed with various carbon pigments and foaming agents, which are placed in an oven and baked until they expand. Then the resulting product is cut to create sheets in the desired thickness.
